About

After at least six months of my mother nagging me to read The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin, I finally got around to it one night when I couldn't ignore the blue and yellow cover sitting idly on my bed stand any longer. I realized shortly after reading the first few chapters that this book really did relate to my life and would probably be of great help to me. Mom was right, once again.

In this book, Gretchen explores the science behind happiness. She creates a year-long plan of small goals and resolutions that are designed to increase her happiness. She stresses that she does not want to have to change her life dramatically in order to have a "happiness revelation." Instead, she strives to find a greater sense of happiness in her daily tasks and chores--ordinary bliss.

With inspiration and guidance from Gretchen Rubin, I've decided to pursue my own happiness project. Here, you will find my thoughts and trivialities throughout the 12 months of my happiness journey. I've mostly used Gretchen's monthly goals, with small changes and reorganization to suit my own needs. I urge you to join me on this quest. And if nothing else, read the book!! :)
